Reflection:
The SUNY Cortland Mini Conference is a great way to interact and collaborate with other professionals in your field. There are so many different session to attend that enhance your knowledge and the opportunity to network with other professionals. Networking is a key component for educators because it gives you the opportunity to obtain new resources to incorporate into your class, as well as collaborative opportunities with other professionals to develop new ways to help get people active. Here I attended a session by POLAR USA, where i got to meet and discuss with representatives of the company on the future of assessment in Physical Education with the use of their fitness assessment technologies, such as the TriFit System. This artifact is important to my development as a professional educator because it demonstrates my ability to network with professionals in other area's of activity and health.
